Since studying psychology at York University in the UK, Richard has maintained a life long interest in understanding the potential in people and developing their talents, both individually and in a team environment. With a long and varied corporate career, Richard has gained hands on experience in many different business sectors, from small family owned companies to large global organizations, including some time as a franchisor and franchisee.
Following his move from the corporate world to establish a coaching and consulting practice, Richard has successfully helped many companies to develop their present and future leaders, and many individuals to achieve their professional and life goals.
Richard is a passionate believer in the importance of Emotional Intelligence as a critical aspect of effective leadership, and is certified to administer EQ-I 2.0 assessments to both individuals and teams. He is also a certified MBTI (Myers Briggs) practitioner, and a consistent learner in the application of Neuroscience in leaders.
